What actually differs
Sugar Rush — the original
Multiplier spots double up to 128x and the win cap is 5,000x. One bonus buy at 100x. The reference point for the series and still the most widely carried version.
Sugar Rush Xmas — the same game in winter colours
Released 30 November 2023. The configuration is identical to the original: 96.50%, 128x, 5,000x. Only the artwork and sound change.
Sugar Rush 1000 — higher ceiling
Released March 2024. Spots now double up to 1,024x and the cap rises to 25,000x. Adds a 500x “super” buy that starts with multipliers on the grid. The cap is hit about once in 12.8 million spins.
Sugar Rush Super Scatter — instant prizes
Released 15 January 2026. Keeps the 1,024x spots and adds Super Scatters: when one to four of them are part of the spin that triggers free spins, they pay 100x, 500x, 5,000x or 50,000x on the spot. Also has three “special bets” in some markets.
Which one to choose
- You are new to the series: start with the original or its demo. The mechanic is easiest to read at lower multipliers.
- You want the highest ceiling: Super Scatter, then 1000. Expect results to be even more uneven.
- You only want a seasonal look: Xmas. Nothing else changes.
No version gives better odds in a meaningful way: the returns sit between 96.50% and 96.58% in the demo builds, and your casino's build matters more. See RTP by version.
Not part of the series
Sweet Bonanza, Fruit Party and Sugar Supreme Powernudge are separate Pragmatic Play games with a similar theme. They are not Sugar Rush versions. We found no “Sugar Rush 2”, “Megaways” or “Dice” edition in the provider's catalogue as of 13 Oct 2026.

Do not rank the games by the “return” row: with 500 spins it reflects which session happened to catch a bonus round. The rows that describe the base game — hit rate, share of small wins, tumbles — are almost identical, which is what you would expect from three games sharing one paytable.
