What you can test in demo mode
- How multiplier spots build. Watch which cells get marked and how rarely a mark reaches 16x or more in the base game.
- How often free spins arrive. You need three or more scatters; the feature is not frequent, which is normal for a high-volatility slot.
- Bet sizing. Try the bet you plan to use and see how long a session budget lasts at that stake.
- The bonus buy. In this build you can buy free spins for 100x the bet and see the range of outcomes without risking money.

Demo and real money: what is different
The maths is the same, with two caveats. First, the demo runs the standard 96.50% build, while a casino may run a lower one — check the info panel at the casino. Second, the bonus buy shown in the demo can be switched off by the operator or the regulator, so it may be missing where you play. Demo wins are not paid out and tell you nothing about what your next real session will do.
What we checked
On 13 Oct 2026 we opened the official demo builds of all four Sugar Rush games in CAD and read their configuration: RTP 96.50%, win cap 5,000x, minimum bet ₱0.20 and a bonus buy priced at 100x for the original. All four demos loaded without a login.

Run your own 100-spin test
A demo is most useful when you treat it as a measurement instead of a pastime. Ten minutes are enough.
- Refresh the page so the play-money balance is at its starting value and write it down.
- Set the bet you would really use and do not change it.
- Play 100 spins. Count three things: spins that paid anything, spins that paid more than the bet, and free-spins triggers.
- Write down the final balance and divide what came back by what you wagered.
- Repeat once. Two sessions with very different results will tell you more about volatility than any description.

Two numbers are worth remembering. About a third of spins paid something, yet more than half of those wins were below the stake, so the balance still drifted down between features. And one free-spins round accounted for more than a fifth of everything the session returned.
Demo troubleshooting
- Black or frozen screen: reload the page; the game re-downloads its assets.
- No sound: browsers block audio until you tap the game once; the speaker icon is in the game menu.
- Game does not fit the screen: rotate the phone or use the full-screen button inside the game.
- “Session expired”: demo sessions time out after a period of inactivity. Reload to start a new one.
- Balance ran out: reload the page for a fresh play-money balance.
Questions players ask
Is the Sugar Rush demo free?
Yes. It uses play-money credits, costs nothing and pays nothing. You do not need to deposit or create an account to use it.
Do I need to download anything?
No. The demo is an HTML5 game that runs in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge on phones and computers.
Can I win real money in the demo?
No. Demo credits have no value and cannot be withdrawn. Real-money play is a matter of local law; see the legal status section of the main page.
Why is the demo not loading?
The game is served by Pragmatic Play. Content blockers, a VPN or a corporate network can stop it. Try turning off the blocker for this page or open the official demo in a new tab.
Is the demo the same as the real game?
The rules, paytable and features are identical. The RTP build and the bonus buy can differ at a casino, so read the info panel there.
How much play money does the demo give?
The build we opened started with a balance of 100,000.00 in play credits. Reloading the page restores it.
Does the demo remember my progress?
No. Each load starts a new session with a fresh balance, and nothing is saved between visits.
