Responsible Gambling in Canada

Where to get help in Canada

Tools at licensed operators

• Deposit, loss and wager limits — daily, weekly or monthly. Reductions apply at once; increases take effect after a delay.
• Session reminders and time limits.
• Cooling-off periods — a short break during which you cannot log in.
• Self-exclusion — a longer ban you cannot reverse early.

Warning signs

• Spending more money or time than you planned, repeatedly.
• Raising stakes to win back losses.
• Borrowing or using money meant for bills.
• Hiding gambling from people close to you.
• Feeling anxious or irritable when not playing.

Facts worth keeping in mind

• Every spin of Sugar Rush is independent. A slot is never “due”.
• With a 96.50% return, the expected cost is about 3.50 for every 100 wagered; in a session the actual result can be much worse.
• Buying a bonus round is a large single bet, not a discount.
• Demo play is free; it is a fine way to enjoy the game without spending.
